![]() It feels like they made the mistake not to build a solid base on what was good in POE1 and expand it with new things. I would rather have one big well made dungeon i need a few hours to solve than 4 mini-dungeons i go through in about 30 minutes each and that have a rushed made feeling on them. Imo the story was quite dull (can´t say much without spoilers so i just won´t say more for that) in comparison to POE1 and the size of the dungeons were really depressing. But that´s not bad as it is (like i said) optional stuff. Many new stuff but also many stuff that´s optional or not well done (sea combat was totally brain-dead for example). ![]() POE:Deadfire has many good ideas, but i would rather say "more mechanics" than "better mechanics". Mechanics were like a better versions of the old mechanics of those kind of games, so i was totally fine with that. The story was extremely good with good twists too and the maps were well made and something to explore. I can confirm that! The first one was fantastic and made nearly nothing wrong (if you like the "good ol´round based rpg´s, of course). Click here for a list of other gaming subreddits.
